FacitFindr - a tacit to explicit process

As this image shows, there is a pathway from the tacit knowledge stored in the mind to the machine storage and retrieval of this knowledge - a dynamic knowledge repository (DKR)
with machine aided search based on successive iteration and refinement of semantic ontologies.

As I see it the process starts with the creation of context and a shared lexicon by
  • professionally visualizing the socialization and prompted conversation of groups of knowledge workers into a display which provides shared context . This can be done in either virtual or face-to-face meetings. (The MIND part in the diagram above)
  • the abstraction from the contextual display of a shared lexicon and the conversion of the visual context/semantically tagged into a draft ontology( linked data) stored in the DKR.
  • the application of a facet browser to allow the search of the content of these shared meetings using the semantic ontology
One can then apply a faceted search method ( the Facit Findr) to the DKR to retrieve knowledge objects representing the collective intelligence of the group(s) APIs or LinkedData mashups can be created by interconnecting the FacitFindr to links in multiple Linked Data DKRs.The faceted search results can be continually augmented by human corrections, additions or deletions from the DKR corpus ( which will be in full multimedia form and machine- addressable down to the discrete word or visual object level.)
